Strychnine Sales
The Pest Management Regulator Agency (PMRA) has deregistered Strychnine. Based on the date of the deregistration, the last date of sale of Strychnine is March 4, 2022. Sale of Strychnine after this date is prohibited by federal statute.
As well, the date of last use of Strychnine is March 4, 2023. Any remaining stocks of Strychnine should be used before that date; after this date, unused Strychnine will require disposal in an environmentally safe manner. For additional information on farm chemical disposal, please contact the Ag Knowledge Centre at 1-866-457-2377.

The Trespass to Property Act
With the recent implementation of the Trespass to Property Act, 2019, SARM (Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities) reached out to the Minister of Justice and Attorney General for direction on some quick facts for rural municipalities.

Just a friendly reminder that our office will be CLOSED from December 24, 2021 to January 2, 2022.
We will be OPEN January 3rd from 8:oo am to 4:00 pm (closed from 12 pm to 1 pm)
If you plan on coming into the office to remit payment for taxes please do so prior to our holiday hours. Cheques can be submitted before the holidays and post-dated to December 31, 2021. All payments postmarked or electronically submitted after December 31, 2021 are subject to penalty.
RM Transfer Sites Holiday Hours
Both RM transfer sites will have regular hours of operation over the holidays as follows:
December 25 – all sites closed
December 26 – Goodsoil Transfer Site open 10 am to 4 pm
December 28 – Goodsoil Transfer Site open 10 am to 4 pm
December 29 – Pierceland Transfer Site open 10 am to 4 pm
December 31 – all sites closed
January 1 – all sites closed
January 2 – Goodsoil Transfer Site open 10 am to 4 pm
November Council Meeting Rescheduled
The regular November Council Meeting has been rescheduled from November 18 to Friday, November 19, 2021 8:30 am. The venue has also been changed from the Josie Britton Centre to the RM of Beaver River office.
