The RM of Beaver River does not currently have a fire ban. SPSA does have a ban, that ban includes the 4.5 kilometers of RM land adjacent to Meadow Lake Provincial Park. The SPSA ban prohibits wood burning fires.

The following will be permitted for cooking and heating purposes at park discretion:

CSA approved self-contained portable gas heating or cooking devices such as:

Fire pits

Barbeques

Pressurized stoves

Charcoal briquettes

Pellet barbecues or smokers
