RCMP SEEKS PUBLIC ASSISTANCE BEACON HILL – LIQUID STRYCHNINE

Pierceland RCMP are currently investigating two cases of domestic dogs being poisoned in the area of Beacon Hill, Saskatchewan. The dogs died between September 15, 2018 and October 8th, 2018. The deaths of two dogs has been confirmed as poisoning by strychnine. The death of two unrelated dogs is also suspected as strychnine poisoning. One other dog from the area is currently missing.

Strychnine poisoning can be fatal to humans and other animals and can occur by inhalation, swallowing or absorption through eyes or mouth.
